Jamin Coffee is more than a brand—it’s a love letter to where we come from, what we care about, and who we’re becoming. Born from the red volcanic soil of East Africa and roasted fresh in Berkeley, California, we’re here to share coffee that tells a story: one of bold flavor, deep roots, and small moments that matter.
This all started with one bag of beans… and a whole lot of heart.
Jamin Coffee grew from a personal dream: to honor a family legacy, uplift smallholder farmers, and share the kind of coffee that makes you slow down and actually taste the moment. We proudly partner with women-led farms and cooperatives that champion regenerative agriculture, equitable trade, and shared ownership.
From Mt. Elgon to Berkeley, we roast in small batches and ship fresh because good coffee deserves better than sitting on a shelf.
We began solo—but never really alone. Every cup we serve carries the work of growers, pickers, processors, and roasters who pour care into every step. Our journey is about more than beans. It’s about belonging.
What We Believe
We believe every cup of coffee should carry a piece of its terroir—bringing the land, the people, and the story home to our community. Because coffee is personal: it meets each of us where we are, offering comfort, connection, and a moment that feels like home.

We’re dreaming of coffee co-ops led by women. Farm-to-cup storytelling that gives credit where it’s due. Global reach with local roots. And one day—featuring in cafés and roasteries that feel like home, no matter where in the world you’re sipping from.
